Steve is a highly experienced and accomplished musician who has actively contributed to the music industry for the past 40 years. Throughout his career, he has excelled as a session drummer, clinician, author, composer, and producer. His musical journey has taken him on extensive tours across the UK, Europe, and Australia, where he has performed in a wide range of venues, from intimate clubs to large stadiums. Notably, Steve had the honour of supporting James Brown in East Berlin in front of an audience of over 120,000 people. 

Passing on his passion and skills has been a highlight of his journey,having had the privilege of performing more than 30 drum clinics, both in the UK and Europe, representing esteemed drum brands Sabian, Remo, and Vic Firth. He has also conducted master classes at many music colleges, conservatories, and schools. Some of the joint clinic performances included a very memorable one with Terry Bozzio at the Clapham Grand in London.

His writing prowess is showcased through his educational articles published in prestigious drum magazines, including the renowned Modern Drummer in the USA.

Patrick Garvey (Head of Drums at Bimm Institute of Music): Patrick Garvey, one of many of my successful students, is currently the Head of Drums at Bimm Institute of Music. He has excelled in his drumming career and has become a notable figure in the industry.

Working alongside his brothers and various labels such as KPM/EMI and Noise pump, he has contributed to the creation of over 200 songs for film, television, and radio. These songs have been featured in popular productions like "Snakes on the Plane," "Hollyoaks," "Malcolm in the Middle," and "American Idol."
